New Submissions Are Here!

With the recent success of the Fletcher Cross Kickstarter campaign, it’s time to move on to TWO new projects from Foreign Press Comics that have been in the works for a while, both of which are through open submissions! But just to put it out there from the jump, thank you to every single person who pledged to the Fletcher Cross campaign, and to everyone who shared the campaign at any point, from pre-launch to the last day. Without everyone who participated, the campaign would not have been successful. Now hopefully we can spin this success into another successful anthology in the future!

The first new project we’re opening submissions for is the anthology Comics From the Kitchen! Comics From the Kitchen is a new black-and-white (for now) anthology all about our favorite food memories, but to differentiate this from other food-themed comics, Comics From the Kitchen is also going to double as a cookbook, so get those recipes handy! Each comic in the anthology will be submitted along with a recipe that coincides with the story. Food is a big part of my life, and something that I love dearly, so Comics From the Kitchen seems like the best way to join the two of these things together. Submissions open Tuesday, July 12 and end Tuesday, August 12, and you can find the submission form here.

The next project with open submissions isn’t actually one thing: it’s anything! For the first time ever, Foreign Press Comics is opening submissions! Whether your comic is all-ages, middle grade, or adult only, whether it’s fantasy, action, or horror, or whether it’s a webcomic, a one-shot, or a miniseries, we want to see it! Now just as a little disclaimer, FPC is not at a point where we can accept everything that comes through our doors, and there’s no guarantee for how long these submissions will stay open, but we’ll keep them open for as long as we need! Click here to start submitting!

So go out and make comics! Turn your thoughts into words, and those words into art, and then submit them to Foreign Press! We can’t wait to see what you do!

Peace and love.
