Adam Holt. Former college athlete, United States Marine, and one of the world's smartest men. In his time experimenting at Mercury Labs, Adam's research into antimatter allowed him to create the M-Spheres, antimatter generators that can access information, project offensive beams, or allow Adam to fly. Armed with these M-Spheres, Adam became Mr. Marvel, one of the United States premier public heroes.

Twins Angelica and Leonard Snart were expert thieves, hired for jobs all around Chicago, but in a job at Marvel Labs to steal their Adam Holt's anti-matter spheres, the twins also steal two elemental generator belts, one ice and one fire. The Snarts used their new weapons to become two of the biggest supervillains in the city, but little did they know, the belts were still being tested, and the constant contact with the generators is turning them into those elements. However, being away from their weapons could potentially kill them. Eventually, Leonard will become a man of ice and Angelica will become a being of pure radioactive fire. Now Static Spider is faced with the question: will he stop their criminal acts or save them from becoming inhuman?
.Having been given a vision of the future by a mystic woman in his home of Latveria that showed him as a god-like emperor, King Victor von Doom studied magic and technology, dedicated to becoming the most powerful man alive. In the 1800s, Latveria fell to foreign invaders, and Doom went on the run. In New Orleans in 1872, Doom sent a young orphan named Remy to the League of Thieves in K'un Lun, where he underwent the trial of the Negative Spirit, meeting the Iron Tiger, and eventually came back to work for Victor. In the 1930s, he had Simone Williams undergo an accident on a film set, giving her ionic powers and preventing her from aging. In the 1980s, Doom orchestrated soldier Cliff Steele's car accident, and turned him into Deathlok, an armored, high-powered killing machine. Now, using magic, technology, and superpowers, Doom dreams to use this new patrol of unwitting partners to bring the world under his control.
An aerospace engineer hellbent on discovering a method of faster-than-light travel, Hank Jordan was testing his newest rocket when he was struck by an alien ship from another world When he approaches the ship, he is attacked by Abin-Sur, a member of the Yellowjackets. Hank fights off the creature using its own weapon, a powerful construct-creating battery. Realizing their effectiveness, he takes the suit and changes it to fit his human body. Hank becomes a hero, helping to found the League, teaming up with the original Wasp, Hollis van Dyne, but when his hometown is destroyed by the Hive, he attacks fellow League member Silk Dragon in anger. Hank is removed from the team and leaves Earth to eradicate the rest of the Hive. Now, Hank has returned, trying to be a hero to repent for his violent past.
Chosen avatar of Apollo, given the power of sunlight, Robert Pulaski is the former lover of Mark Spector. As Marc's Disocciative Identity Disorder worsened, their relationship started to deteriorate. They officially broke up after Robert (Bob) became Apollus, causing Mark to develop another identity known as the Moon Knight, aka Lucas Trent, who was supposedly destined to work with Apollus. With no way to prove if Mark's claims were legitimate, the two split up, but not without occassionally getting back together, both in their personal lives and their superhero lives.
Jessica Brunhilde of Val-Hala was trained as one of the peaceful, monk-like warriors known as the Valkyrie, taught to use all variety of weapons. When the Red Hammer chooses her to be its wielder, Jessica is forced to release the anger that she's always fought so hard to contain.
The world's finest. Sidekicks of the Captain and the Man of Steel, Steelheart a.k.a. Ri-ri of Krypton and the Huntress a.k.a. Agent Sharon Bertinelli. After To-ni was launched from Krypton, Ri-ri, his cousin, soon followed, but her pod never opened, leaving her to be found in the basement of an NYC apartment building after To-ni had already become his own hero. Ri-ri got a job at Kent Industries, and was assigned to the Man of Steel project by To-ni himself. Huntress was the daughter of Peggy Bertinelli, one of Gotham's crime bosses. After her mother ordered the death of Sharon's childhood friend, Helena Carter, Sharon joined ARGUS, in the hopes that she would be able to stop her mother's crimes. When the Man of Steel met the Captain stopping the Black Incursion, the heroes went their separate ways, disapproving of each other's methods. Their sidekicks, however, made quick friends and continue to team up whenever they can.
Sgt. Bucky Todd, Jay Summers, and Ollie Barton (a.k.a. The Sergeant, the Flash, and Hawkeye) teamed up in the 90's as the new up-and-coming superheroes, calling themselves the Titans. Jay appeared one day, a fully formed hero, to stop the Hive, an alien threat that required all of Earth's heroes to defeat it. He was quickly joined by Bucky, former partner of The Captain, and Ollie, the hip new archer from Seattle, and they stuck together until Jay disappeared, and Bucky died soon after. Ollie moved to San Francisco, where he found a new partner: Mockingbird.
When his home planet of Krypton exploded, Kal-El was sent by his parents to Earth to keep his planet's legacy alive. Landing on a farm in Kansas, he was given the name Anthony and raised by Jonathan and Martha Kent, who taught him humility. Soon, Tony used his alien knowledge to turn the rocket that sent him to Earth into a suit of armor with his family's crest, becoming a hero. He also used that extraterrestrial knowledge to become a billionaire humanitarian, founding Kent Industries, which used his advanced technology to benefit the world.
Wanda of Theymscira is an Amazon, given the title of the "Scarlet Witch" by Hecate, the goddess of magic. She was sent to the world of man to protect them from the threat of Hades, but after the threat was ended, she stayed in man's world to help the people who she had grown to love. A formidable opponent in hand to hand combat, Wanda's true power comes in her ability to use magic to change reality around her.
